When I was searching for name badges magnetic online, I came across this company that has the reusable kind. I looked into it and I realized that this type of magnetic name badges is actually very practical. Not only are they magnetic, they’re reusable as well. It looks like they have changeable inserts on which the wearer can put their names on. The reusable parts are apparently the plastic dome that acts as the laminate and the back metal cover that will attract the also-reusable magnet. Each name badge will only come with three inserts, but you can order plenty of those separately. The inserts are printable, obviously, as with most everything else these days. I’m thinking of ordering my own batch of these magnetic name badges next week. I still have a few questions to ask their customer representative. After those have been addressed, I’ll proceed in making business with them.

When should you expect your radio advertising to work? That’s the question I was asking after the first week of being on the air. It seemed like a no brainer, my message was being played quite frequently, but no one was calling or coming through the door. Turns out, people are sort of like dogs, really, when you show a dog a trick he’s not going to do it right away. It takes repeated training before the dog will take action. Guess what, people are the same way with radio commercials. Dangle an offer in front of them that they want, just like dangling a treat in front of a dog. If they hear the commercial frequently enough, just like repeating the instruction enough for a dog – they take action and do what they need to get the treat. I’m not trying to insult the human race that I too am a part of (yes believe it or not, I am not a dog), I’m just being real. Because after a week of my commercials “juicy and baconlicious message” on the air, the phone started ringing and my business shot up about 35 percent. Lesson learned, radio advertising works. It just takes a little time.
